Bayless leads the way: Bucks beat Nets 94-86

MILWAUKEE -- Greg Monroe had 20 points and eight rebounds Saturday night, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 94-86 victory over the winless Brooklyn Nets.Monroe shot 8 of 16 from the floor and contributed his only two assists down the stretch for the Bucks, who handed the Nets their seventh straight loss to start the season.Jerryd Bayless had 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting and 10 rebounds, and Khris Middleton chipped in with 14 points and nine rebounds.Milwaukee (4-3) has won four in a row after starting 0-3 for the first time since 1976-77.Brooklyn (0-7) was led by Brook Lopez with 20 points.

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks have yet to start arena lease negotiations with the Wisconsin Center District -- but Bucks co-owner Wes Edens says he expects to reach a lease agreement by year's end.Completing the lease negotiations is a crucial next step in the arena construction process.Edens says he anticipates a smooth negotiating process because the $250 million public-funding package has already been finalized.Bucks President Peter Feigin will lead the Bucks side of the negotiations.

New opening date: Bucks arena in downtown Milwaukee won't open until 2018-2019 season

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks senior VP of communications on Tuesday, October 27th confirmed for FOX6 News that the opening date for the Bucks’ new arena in downtown Milwaukee has now been pushed back to the 2018-2019 season.The NBA had set a deadline for the Milwaukee Bucks to build the new arena by 2017 -- or the Bucks would be moved from Milwaukee.
