ROCKFORD (WITI) -- Goalie Henrik Karlsson turned aside 31 Milwaukee shots to lead the Rockford IceHogs to a 2-1 win over Milwaukee Tuesday night.The Admirals cranked up the pressure in the third period with 14 shots on goal, but Karlsson stopped them all for his first win against Milwaukee this season.The loss dropped Milwaukee from seventh to ninth place in the Western Conference standings.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) --  Despite a 41-26 advantage in shots the Admirals dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the Toronto Marlies Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Admirals, but they still earned a vital point in the standings with the OT defeat.Just 1:23 into the game, Brad Winchester of the Ads scored his seventh goal of the season after he jammed in a rebound from Craig Smith’s slapper at the point.With 14:56 remaining in the first, Jamie Devane of Toronto drove the puck into the Admiral’s corner and put a blind pass to Sam Carrick who slammed a one timer from the slot over Milwaukee’s netminder Magnus Hellberg’s glove side.The second period started with the teams tied at one, but with the Admirals on the power play, Anthony Bitetto faked out defender Mike Zigomanis and slammed a shot into the back of the net from the point.

HAMILTON, ON (WITI) -- Goaltender Magnus Hellberg stopped all 25 shots he saw Sunday afternoon to boost the Milwaukee Admirals past the Hamilton Bulldogs 2-0.Hellberg won his sixth straight game, and second in as many days, and improved his mark in seven February games to 6-0-0 with a 1.10 goals against average and a save percentage at 95.8%.
