MADISON (AP) — Wisconsin lawmakers have advanced a bill that would regulate ride-hailing services such as Uber and Lyft.The Assembly approved the measure Tuesday on a 79-19 vote.Regulating companies like Uber and Lyft, which connect pedestrians with private drivers through a smartphone app, has become a hot topic as they've increased in popularity and compete with taxi and limo companies.

Uber will soon offer Milwaukee fans flat-rate rides to Lambeau Field

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Uber is launching in Green Bay -- and the mobile ride-booking service will soon offer flat-rate trips from Milwaukee to Lambeau Field on Packers game days.The Milwaukee Business Journal says Uber is currently seeking drivers for the Green Bay area.Riders in the Milwaukee area will soon get an email announcing a $500 flat-rate ride two and from Green Bay.Riders can split the fare through Uber's app with up to six people.An Uber SUV will shuttle fans to and from Lambeau Field.CLICK HERE for more on this story via the Milwaukee Business Journal.
