48-year-old Sheboygan man arrested for 7th OWI following crash

SHEBOYGAN -- A 48-year-old Sheboygan man was arrested Wednesday, February 17th for OWI  -- 7th offense, following a crash.The Sheboygan Police and Fire Departments responded to the area of Lakeshore Road and Pine Bluff Drive around 7:14 p.m. for reports of an accident.Upon arrival, emergency personnel found the operator of a 2002 Ford F150 trapped inside of his vehicle.

Sheboygan police: 19-year-old woman will be OK after she was hit by a vehicle

SHEBOYGAN -- Sheboygan police say a 19-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon, November 24th.It happened on Lakeshore Drive near Mead Avenue shortly before 3:30 p.m.The woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution.She was expected to be OK.Police say this crash happened when the woman walked into the street.No citations were issued -- although police did give the pedestrian a warning.

SHEBOYGAN -- Three people sustained minor injuries after their fishing boat crashed into a break wall at the Sheboygan Marina Wednesday night, July 22nd.The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office received a call  around 9:40 p.m. about a 29 foot fishing vessel striking the north pier.

SHEBOYGAN --  Sheboygan County District Attorney Joe DeCecco needs help identifying a person who is currently in custody.DeCecco says the man, who was arrested on June 29th for retail theft from a local supermarket, will only identify himself by using celebrity names such as “Calvin Klein” or “Heath Ledger."The man is about 6’2” tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes,  and a short, full blonde beard.“While the charge is a misdemeanor property crime, without identifying the subject we run the risk of not knowing if he is wanted elsewhere for something much more serious.

"There's no point to it:" Graffiti cleanup at Sheboygan park costs thousands

SHEBOYGAN -- It took just a few hours, but what vandals did to a Sheboygan park is costing the City of Sheboygan thousands of dollars."It's a big park," Kayla Berceu said.Police are investigating extensive graffiti found at Evergreen and Quarry Park in Sheboygan.The graffiti occurred during the evening/overnight hours of Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th.

Police seek suspect responsible for strong-armed robbery at "Pig Stop" store in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- Sheboygan police are looking for the suspect responsible for a strong-armed robbery at the Pig Stop store on N. 15th Street.It happened on Sunday, May 10th just before 11:00 a.m.Police say a cashier reported that a male suspect entered the store, physically assaulted her and removed cash from a safe.The cashier was not injured.The suspect is described as a male, standing 5'7" to 5'10" tall, wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt with “NIKE” on the chest.The suspect had the hood pulled up over a hat with a visor.Anyone with any information is asked to call Sheboygan police at 459-3333.

Sheboygan police say employee killed at Paperbox Company was hit by truck's trailer

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) --- Sheboygan police say a 67-year-old man was killed at the Sheboygan Paperbox Company on April 29th.It happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the business on S. 11th Street.Sheboygan police say an investigation was conducted with the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the incident has been classified as an accidental death.The victim, 67-year-old Thomas Vandekreeke had been working in a narrow walkway near the loading dock when a truck exited the loading dock area.
