WEST BEND -- West Bend police say a robbery suspect sustained a self-inflicted injury at a Fleet Farm store following a robbery and brief pursuit on Thursday evening, February 25th.Police say around 5:00 p.m., the man entered the "Westbury Bank" near Washington Street and Wildwood Avenue and handed a note to the teller, demanding money.An undetermined amount of money was obtained by the suspect.A witness observed the suspect run to a pickup truck that was parked across the street from the bank, and the witness then saw the suspect drive east on W.

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- Washington County Sheriff's officials say a man's vehicle was stolen after he was involved in a minor traffic accident with the suspects.It happened on Wednesday, December 16th just before 7:30 p.m. in the Town of Polk.The victim, a 62-year-old Town of West Bend man, was northbound on Highway 144 and stopped in traffic, waiting to proceed northbound on the I-41 on-ramp.While waiting for oncoming southbound traffic on Highway 144, the victim was rear-ended by a dark colored pick-up truck.As the victim exited his vehicle to assess the damage, one of the occupants of the pick-up truck entered the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene northbound on Highway 144.Simultaneously, the operator of the dark colored pick-up also fled the scene and proceeded southbound on Highway 144.The suspect that took the victim’s vehicle was described as a white male in his 20s, standing 5’8 to 5’10 tall with a thin build.
