Admirals winning streak snapped with 5-0 loss to Griffins
MILWAUKEE -- All good things must come to an end.The Admirals learned that the hard way Friday night as they saw their team-record 10-game winning streak halted by the Grand Rapids Griffins by a 5-0 score at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.It was the first loss for Milwaukee since Halloween night and it also ended their 11-game point streak.It was also the first time this season that Viktor Arvidsson didn't find the scoresheet for Milwaukee, ending his 13-game point-streak which was the best in the AHL this year.For the first time since October 29 the Admirals found themselves trailing by two as Grand Rapids scored a pair of first period goals.
Brewers, Admirals team up for ticket promotion
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Admirals announced Tuesday, November 24th the continuation of the “2-Man Advantage” ticket package that was originally introduced for the 2008 season.The joint ticket opportunity is a part of the partnership established by the two teams in 2005.The ticket package includes one “Stern & Bow” ticket to one of three Brewers promotion nights at the BMO Harris Bradley Center for an Admirals home game and one Terrace Reserved ticket to one of three select Brewers games at Miller Park during the 2016 season, all for only $22.

MILWAUKEE -- The Admirals tied a franchise record with their ninth consecutive win with a 3-1 victory over the San Diego Gulls on Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.Kevin Fiala, Freddy Gaudreau and Adam Payerl all lit the lamp for Milwaukee, while Marek Mazanec was brilliant again in goal, stopping 29 shots for his second win in as many games.Fiala's first goal of the season just 3:28 into the game staked the Admirals to an early lead.

MILWAUKEE -- Frederick Gaudreau scored the Admirals lone goal in regulation and added another in the shoot-out as Milwaukee won their eighth consecutive game with a 2-1 shoot-out win over the Rockford IceHogs on Friday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.Marek Mazanec finished the night with 28 saves and stopped both Rockford attempts in the shoot-out to earn the victory in his first game action in almost two weeks.After two scoreless periods, Gaudreau picked up his second goal in as many games just 5:04 in the third.

MILWAUKEE -- With over 11,000 fans from 99 Milwaukee area schools the Admirals put on an entertaining and educational show as they defeated the Lake Erie Monsters 6-3 in the team's first ever School Day game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Wednesday morning, November 11th.After a bit a slow start that saw the Ads need goalie Juuse Saros to stop a pair of breakaways, Milwaukee got things rolling when Pontus Aberg fired a wrister from the left dot that beat Lake Erie netminder Anton Forsberg to the far post at the 6:14 mark of the first.Goals from Trevor Murphy and Taylor Aronson pushed the Admirals lead to 3-0 after the first period and chased Forsberg from the net.The change in goaltenders made little difference for Milwaukee to start the second as Max Gortz converted on a power-play just 38 seconds into the middle from to make it 4-0 Milwaukee.Lake Erie made things interesting as they scored the next two goals and it was 4-2 after two periods.However, Milwaukee got two more of their own in the third, one from Aberg and a shorty from Max Reinhart with just under seven minutes to go, to guide them to the victory.Aberg's two goals paced the offense, while Vladislav Kamenev and Adam Payerl each chipped in two assists.Milwaukee's finished the night 1-for-8 on the power play, marking the eighth time in the past nine games that they have scored with the man-advantage.Saros stopped 23 shots on the night to earn his third straight win.Milwaukee heads out on a quick two-game trip to Charlotte to face the Checkers on Friday and Saturday night at 6:30 pm CT before returning home to begin a season-long seven-game homestand on November 18 vs.

ROCKFORD -- Rookie defenseman Trevor Murphy scored his first professional goal and goalie Marek Mazanec stopped 35 shots to lead the Admirals to a 3-2 overtime win over the Rockford IceHogs Saturday night.Milwaukee extended its winning streak to three games and its points streak to four games with the victory.Rockford was penalized for too many men on the ice with 1:01 to go in overtime which put the Admirals on the power play.

Shoot-out win: Admirals beat Texas Stars 4-3 at home
MILWAUKEE -- Vladislav Kamenev tallied two goals and added an assist, while Colton Sissons sent the game into overtime with his first goal of the season with only 5.9 seconds to play in regulation to help guide the Admirals to a 4-3 shoot-out win on Tuesday night, October 27th over the Texas Stars.It was the team's first win at home this year and already the second time they have come back when trailing after two periods, which matched their total from all of last year.Sissons heroics were preceded by Kamenev's second goal of the night with 6:25 to play in the game to pull the Ads within one at 3-2.Then with just 22 seconds to play in the game and Milwaukee still trailing, the Stars Remi Elie took a tripping call to put the Ads on the power-play.With goalie Marek Mazenec pulled in favor of an extra attacker, Kevin Fiala fired a wrister from the top of the right circle that deflected off of Sissons' stick and into the top of the net.Following a scoreless OT period, Frederick Gaudreau and Fiala both scored in the shoot-out, while Mazanec stopped two of three shooters to give the Ads the win, their first at the BMOHBC since March 6.Texas got on the board early in the first period when Jason Dickenson beat Ads goalie Marek Mazanec glove side for his first goal of the season at the 1:53 mark.It would remain 1-0 Texas until midway through the second period when Milwaukee tied it up on a Vladislav Kamenev goal.

GRAND RAPIDS (WITI) -- Goalie Tom McCollum stopped 32 shots to lead the Grand Rapids Griffins to a 6-2 win over the Admirals Wednesday night, April 8th.Milwaukee finished the season series against the Griffins with a record of 3-5-1-1.Anthony Mantha gave the Griffins a 1-0 lead at 4:36 of the first period when he blasted a slapshot from the top of the right circle into the net for a power play goal.The Griffins made it 2-0 when Andy Miele deflected a Brennan Evans shot from the left point past Admirals goalie Magnus Hellberg at 11:16 of the first period.Milwaukee used a Colton Sissons deflection to get on the scoreboard at 16:50 of the first period.
