MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking public assistance identifying and locating a suspect wanted for a theft that happened May 13 near 51st and Capitol.Police say the suspect entered a business and took property from the cashier.Authorities described the suspect is described as an African-American female, 20-25 years old, 5'8" to 5'11" tall and around 130 pounds.

Police: Woman hurt when shots were fired after she was forced into vehicle near 24th and Auer

MILWAUKEE -- A 29-year-old woman was hurt while escaping from a vehicle she was forced into near 24th Street and Auer Avenue Tuesday afternoon, May 26, police said.It happened just after 2:30 p.m.Police said the victim was forced into the vehicle by armed individuals who  fired shots.The woman escaped, but suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening as she got out of the moving vehicle.

Milwaukee police: 58-year-old woman suffers serious injuries in apartment fire

2 teens shot, wounded near 57th and Fairmount, Milwaukee police say

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a double, non-fatal shooting that happened on the city's north side Saturday night.Authorities say a 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were both shot near 57th and Fairmount around 7 p.m. They sustained minor injuries and are expected to survive.The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being investigated.
