200 without power in Wauwatosa due to faulty underground cable

WAUWATOSA -- 200 customers are without power in Wauwatosa as of 4:40 p.m. Thursday, June 30th due to a power outage caused by a fault in an underground cable.The outage began around 2:00 p.m.The boundaries for this outage are N. 47th Street to the east, N. 70th Street to the west, Vine Street to the north, and Fairview Avenue to the south.CLICK HERE to monitor the We Energies Power Outage Map.

Evacuations in Hartford after construction crew cut gas line, leading to leak

HARTFORD -- We Energies crews were called out to a building near Main Street and Jackson Street in Hartford Tuesday afternoon, June 7th after construction crews cut a gas pipe -- leading to a gas leak.The call for this incident came in around 3:15 p.m.It happened at what is called the "Mole Hole" building.

Balloon hits power line, causes 1,500 outages in West Allis

Traffic alert: DPW plans traffic light outages on Milwaukee's west side Sunday, April 17th

MILWAUKEE -- The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) announced several traffic signals will be shut down temporarily due to We Energies work Sunday morning, April 17th on the city's west side.According to the DPW, the lights will be down as part of a scheduled We Energies substation shutdown.The traffic signals at the following west side intersections will not be functioning on Sunday, April 17th from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.:

Update: Power restored to roughly 1,300 We Energies customers in Franklin

FRANKLIN -- Roughly 1,300 We Energies customers were temporarily without power because of an incident at Rawson and Forest Home Avenues in Franklin on Friday evening, April 15th.Shortly after 6 p.m., We Energies notified FOX6 News that power has been restore to those affected.The circumstances of the outage are under investigation.

Bird flew into power line, knocking out power to more than 1,000 in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- According to the We Energies Outage Map -- more than 1,000 customers are being impacted by power outages in Waukesha on Wednesday afternoon, April 6th.As of 4:50 p.m., the outage map showed four outages impacting 1,437 customers.We Energies officials say the outages are the result of a bird that flew into a power line.
