WASHINGTON COUNTY -- Residents were evacuated on Wednesday afternoon, April 20th in Richfield after construction crews struck a gas line.It happened on Highway 175, just north of 167 shortly before noon.The gas line was struck by construction crews working on the Highway 175 reconstruction project.
Traffic alert: DPW plans traffic light outages on Milwaukee's west side Sunday, April 17th
MILWAUKEE -- The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) announced several traffic signals will be shut down temporarily due to We Energies work Sunday morning, April 17th on the city's west side.According to the DPW, the lights will be down as part of a scheduled We Energies substation shutdown.The traffic signals at the following west side intersections will not be functioning on Sunday, April 17th from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.:

WAUKESHA -- According to the We Energies Outage Map -- more than 1,000 customers are being impacted by power outages in Waukesha on Wednesday afternoon, April 6th.As of 4:50 p.m., the outage map showed four outages impacting 1,437 customers.We Energies officials say the outages are the result of a bird that flew into a power line.
