TOWN OF TRENTON (WITI) -- Washington County Sheriff's officials say several departments were called out to battle a grain bin dryer fire in the Town of Trenton early Monday morning, November 10th.It happened shortly before 6:00 a.m. at a property on Highway Y.The property owner noticed the fire when he went outside to begin his daily chores and observed flames near the heater fan of the grain bin dryer -- quickly turning off the fan to try to slow the flames.When officials responded to the scene, the flames were extinguished and the electric and propane sources were turned off.

Town of West Bend home severely damaged by fire early Sunday

WEST BEND (WITI) -- Washington County Sheriff's officials and eight fire departments were called out to a house fire in West Bend early Sunday morning, September 7th.The fire was called in by several neighbors, as well as the homeowner, who had just returned home -- shortly before 5:00 a.m. Sunday.Sheriff's officials say the first deputy to arrive at the scene on Peninsula Drive in the Town of West Bend saw flames coming from the first and second floors of the home.No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
