FRANKLIN -- Franklin police say a suspect has been taken into custody -- accused of burglarizing a home on Wednesday afternoon, September 23rd.Police say the homeowner came home shortly before 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, and found someone burglarizing his home on West Stone Hedge Drive.The suspect was described as a white male, standing 5'9 to 5'10" tall, with a heavy, muscular build.That suspect fled the scene on foot.

FRANKLIN -- A 51-year-old Cudahy man died from injuries suffered after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Franklin on Sunday evening, September 6th.Officials say the bicyclist was struck on S. 76th St.

FRANKLIN -- Franklin police say a 54-year-old man died of apparent natural causes while riding his bicycle Saturday, June 13th.

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Franklin police are warning residents about a suspicious van driven by a man in his 60s.Police say on Monday, April 6th, they received a call regarding a red Dodge van, 2013 or newer with no rust being driven by a white male in his 60s.The man was wearing a baseball hat, and has no facial hair.

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Franklin police are seeking a suspect in connection with a home invasion involving an 83-year-old victim.It happened Monday, January 26th just after 3 a.m. near 117th and Oakwood Road.Police say a male suspect, between the ages of 20 and 29 entered the 83-year-old victim's home -- demanding money, prescription medication and alcohol.

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Franklin Fire officials on Wednesday afternoon, November 19th were called out to the scene of a trailer home fire that has displaced residents.It happened at a trailer home in the 6300 block of S. 27th Street shortly before 4:00 p.m.Upon their arrival at the scene, fire officials observed flames and smoke pouring from the trailer.

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Franklin police are seeking two suspects after two people were found bound and held against their will at a home on S. 92nd Street.Police on Monday morning, November 17th responded to the home for a reported armed robbery.Police say the 75-year-old homeowner and a 53-year-old employee were bound and held by suspects displaying weapons.

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Franklin police took a 31-year-old woman into custody Friday morning, October 17th following a stabbing.Authorities say they responded to a residence around 5:30 a.m. for a report of a stabbing where the female suspect fled the scene.When officers arrived on scene, they located the 36-year-old victim on the front porch with a bleeding chest wound.Medical care was provided by officers until the Franklin Fire Department arrived and transported the victim to Froedtert Memorial Hospital.A responding officer located the suspect vehicle fleeing the area, performed a traffic stop and took the 31-year-old woman into custody.The suspect was transported to the Milwaukee County Criminal Justice Facility and is awaiting charges. 

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Franklin police on Tuesday afternoon, May 27th arrested a 24-year-old man for refusing to stop his vehicle -- and he was later involved in a crash.Franklin police attempted to stop the man's vehicle just before 4:00 Tuesday -- but say he refused, because the vehicle's registered owner had two misdemeanor warrants.Police say the driver ran a red light at the intersection of S. 27th Street and W.
