DODGE COUNTY -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office released the identity on Friday, December 23rd of the person killed in a fatal crash that occurred on County Highway AY near County Highway Y in the Township of Theresa on September 22nd.The victim is identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Camacho-Flores of Mexico.Preliminary investigation shows that one vehicle was traveling northbound on County Highway AY.

Wisconsin State Patrol trooper's squad struck while assisting driver on I-41 in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- A state trooper's squad was struck while they were helping assist a car that struck a median on I-41 near Highway Y.The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. Friday, December 16th.According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the trooper was helping a car that had lost control and struck a median when his own squad was struck.Officials say the trooper was not injured.

1 person flown Flight for Life with life-threatening injuries following crash in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- Dodge County officials are investigating after a crash took place on County Highway S near South Center Road in the Town of Beaver Dam, Thursday morning, November 17th.The crash took place shortly before 9:30 a.m.According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, a 40-year-old man from Beaver Dam was traveling west on County Highway S in a 2006 Chevrolet when he drifted over the center line into eastbound traffic, striking the rear wheels of a 2016 Mack semi-truck, operated by a 58-year-old man from rural Mayville.Authorities say there were no other occupants in either vehicle.

DODGE COUNTY -- Dodge County Sheriff's officials on Monday, November 14th arrested a 27-year-old Beaver Dam woman who they say is a "major drug dealer."The woman was arrested following a traffic stop in Beaver Dam -- taken into custody on charges of manufacturing/delivery of heroin as party to a crime, manufacturing/delivery of cocaine as party to a crime, and delivery of a counterfeit narcotic drug as party to a crime.According to Dodge County Sheriff's officials, the woman is known to have operated her drug distribution ring from several locations throughout the Beaver Dam -- including Lakecrest Drive, Rosendale Street and the Shoe Factory Apartments on N.

Beaver Dam Sheriff sergeant's use of deadly force on James Quealy was "completely justified"

DODGE COUNTY -- The Dodge County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, November 9th that Beaver Dam Sheriff's "Sergeant Joseph Nicholas' use of deadly force was completely justified and necessary to protect his life and the lives of others threatened by James Quealy." That sergeant is now back on the job.53-year-old Quealy was shot on Friday, August 5th.

Man taken to hospital via Flight for Life after semi rolled, grain spilled in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- A man was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life after a crash involving his semi tractor-trailer that happened Sunday, November 6th in Dodge County.It happened shortly after 6:00 p.m.Sheriff's officials say the semi tractor-trailer rolled at the intersection of County Highway AW and County Highway A in the Town of Fox Lake.An investigation revealed the truck was southbound on County Highway A and attempted a right turn onto County Highway AW when it rolled on its side.

90-year-old woman dies after failing to stop at stop sign, crashing into another vehicle in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- Officials with the Dodge County Sheriff's Office have identified a 90-year-old woman who died after a crash on Halloween.It happened Monday, October 31st around 2:30 p.m. at County Highway V and County Highway Y in the Town of Leroy.Sheriff's officials say an investigation has revealed a vehicle headed southbound on County Highway V failed to stop at a stop sign at County Highway Y.That vehicle struck a vehicle headed westbound on County Highway Y.The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle that was headed southbound was 90-year-old Irma Baumann.

DODGE COUNTY -- A 37-year-old Columbus, Wisconsin man who served as an intern with the Dodge County Human Services and Health Department has been criminally charged, accused of developing and maintaining an inappropriate, personal relationship with a female client.According to Dodge County Sheriff's officials, an investigation began in April, and that investigation confirmed that the alleged relationship was inappropriate and sexual in nature and criminal charges were referred to the Dodge County District Attorney's Office.

3-year-old child seriously hurt after being ejected from vehicle in Dodge County crash

DODGE COUNTY -- A three-year-old child sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash in Dodge County.The crash happened Thursday afternoon, September 22nd on Town Road MM, west of Jefferson Road, in the Township of Ashippun.Preliminary investigation shows that an SUV was westbound on Town Road MM when the driver lost control -- causing the vehicle to enter the south ditch, strike a steep embankment and utility pole.A three-year-old child was ejected from the vehicle.
