MOUNT PLEASANT -- Mount Pleasant police on Thursday, December 17th responded to a business on Globe Drive for a bomb threat.It happened around 10:00 a.m.Police were called to Seda North America Inc., near Globe Drive and International Drive.The building was searched, and nothing suspicious was found.Investigators immediately followed up on leads and developed a suspect.That suspect, a 35-year-old Racine woman, was arrested at her home.

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Mount Pleasant police say two people were arrested for racing on the highway early on Sunday, November 29th.Police say it was shortly before 7:00 a.m. when an officer headed southbound on State Highway 31/Green Bay Road observed two vehicles racing towards him northbound on Highway 31 -- near Braun Road.The vehicles were traveling at 109 miles-per-hour, according to police.

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Mount Pleasant police are seeking a suspect after an attempted carjacking at the Speedway gas station on Washington Avenue on Thursday morning, October 22nd.It happened around 3:30 a.m.Police say the victim reported he had purchased items from inside the store and as he was placing the items inside his vehicle, the suspect approached him from the side of the building while displaying a pistol.The suspect then threatened to shoot the victim and demanded the victim get into the vehicle with him and drive.When the victim refused, the suspect fled south through yards on foot.The victim described the suspect as being a younger male black, approximately 5’10” tall with a thin build -- wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.A police K-9 officer was used to search the area for the suspect, but the suspect was not located.There were no injuries suffered during this incident.
