MENOMONEE FALLS (WITI) -- Waukesha County Sheriff's officials say three squad cars were damaged during a pursuit as law enforcement officials looked to arrest an individual wanted on a felony warrant for theft and eluding officers Wednesday afternoon, February 11th.The State Patrol requested Waukesha County Sheriff's officials pick up the individual on the warrant.

GERMANTOWN (WITI) -- Germantown police say a box that fell off a truck on U.S. 41/45 SB north of County Line Road on Wednesday evening, May 7th led to a crash.It happened around 5:15 p.m.Police say two vehicles were involved.Police say their preliminary investigation indicates a box fell from a truck headed southbound, and landed in the right lane of traffic.A vehicle heading southbound drove over the box, and it became lodged under the vehicle.The driver lost the ability to steer -- and went off the road left into the center median.The driver was the only occupant of the car, and wasn't injured.Police say the vehicle struck another vehicle before coming to rest in the median.The second vehicle rolled multiple times and came to rest on the right shoulder of the highway.A 35-year-old woman was the only occupant of this vehicle.She was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries -- but is expected to survive.

GERMANTOWN (WITI) -- Germantown police say an arrest is made after an Ozaukee County man allegedly impersonated an officer.According to the Germantown Police Department Facebook page, on Saturday, October 19th, a female subject reported observing a dark, unmarked SUV, with red/blue lights on top that were activated two times traveled east on Freistadt Rd., north of Wasaukee Rd.Officers met with an Ozaukee County deputy who responded to the registered owner's Cedarburg address.

Officials in Germantown rescue 45-year-old man trapped in attic

GERMANTOWN (WITI) -- Germantown police are investigating an incident in which an intoxicated man prompted a response from law enforcement officials.It happened on Tuesday, May 21st, around 4:00 p.m.Police received a 911 call reporting a 45-year-old man was being held at gunpoint inside a home near Esquire Court and Kings Way.Officials were eventually able to make phone contact with a highly intoxicated man who said he was not being held at gunpoint -- but that he was trapped in the attic.Officials were forced to enter the home and rescue the man from the attic.
