UPDATE: Kenny Kodrich, missing from Germantown since December 7th, has been found

GERMANTOWN -- Germantown police say 36-year-old Kenny Kodrich, whom police were looking for after he was reported missing since December 7th has been found.Police say Kodrich disappeared under his own free will.There was concern when Kodrich didn't show up for work at a business in Germantown -- and police asked for the public's help in locating him.

Germantown police seek suspects responsible for robbery at Super 8 Motel

GERMANTOWN -- The Germantown Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, October 27th at the Super 8 Motel, located at N96 W17490 County Line Road.According to police, two suspects entered the lobby around 12:05 a.m. and distracted a Super 8 employee while a third suspect jumped the counter, threatened the employee, and took an undetermined amount of cash.

Scare on Halloween morning: Woman finds unknown man asleep on her couch

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- Washington County Sheriff's officials say they were called out to a home this past weekend after a man unknown to the homeowners was found sleeping on the coach.Sheriff's officials were dispatched shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31st to a home in Washington County.Officials learned a woman who lives in the home noticed shoes in the back hallway that didn't belong to anyone who lived in the home.

Five Germantown High School students injured in two-vehicle crash near Mequon Road & River Lane

GERMANTOWN -- Five Germantown High School students were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, November 3rd.It happened at approximately 7:10  a.m. at the intersection of Mequon Road and River Lane.According to police, the five students were traveling in a vehicle that was making a left turn from eastbound Mequon Road onto northbound River Lane when the driver turned in front of another vehicle.The second vehicle involved, which contained three Germantown High School students,  was making a right turn from westbound Mequon Road onto northbound River Lane when the collision occurred.

Hunting accident: Slinger man dies after falling from tree stand in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A 50-year-old man from the Village of Slinger died Thursday night, October 29th after falling from his tree stand in Washington County.According to authorities, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting that a hunter was found unresponsive at the bottom of his tree stand near Saint Augustine Road in the Town of Erin.The caller was the victim’s son who had gone out to look for his father after he had not returned home after dark.Richfield Fire/EMS were dispatched to the area along with deputies.

Two injured following rollover accident on I-41 near Mequon Road in Germantown

GERMANTOWN -- The Germantown Fire Department along with Germantown police were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover accident on I-41 northbound, north of Mequon Road, Sunday night, October 18th.Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle had rolled over but was upright, with heavy damage to the roof, driver's side and passenger's side of the vehicle.Officials say two people were trapped inside the vehicle and the fuel tank was leaking gasoline.Germantown firefighters use hydraulic rescue tools to cut the roof off the vehicle and removed both the front and rear doors of the car.

50-year-old West Bend man flown to the hospital after crash involving his motorcycle in Kewaskum

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- Washington County Sheriff's officials say a 50-year-old West Bend man had to be taken to the hospital via Flight for Life after a motorcycle crash on County Highway H at State Highway 144 in Kewaskum.It happened on Saturday night, October 3rd around 11:30.Sheriff's officials say upon arrival at the scene, deputies located the motorcycle's operator, a 50-year-old West Bend man, with serious injuries.The man was unconscious but breathing -- and officials found he wasn't wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.Deputies made contact with two witnesses -- who were in a vehicle headed southbound on State Highway 144.Witness statements and evidence at the scene indicated the motorcycle was headed westbound on County Highway H when it failed to stop for a stop sign at State Highway 114.

West Bend police search for 27-year-old Andrew Eckl, accused of stabbing bar patron

WEST BEND -- A fight over a girl leads to a stabbing inside the River Horse West bar on Thursday night, October 1st.West Bend Police say 27-year-old Andrew Eckl of West Bend, had an argument with a 30-year-old man from Ixonia, regarding one of the two talking to the other's girlfriend.During the argument, Eckl removed a knife he was carrying and cut and stabbed the 30-year-old.

Fatal wreck: Motorcyclist dies from injuries after collision with pickup truck

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A 28-year-old Town of Hartford motorcycle died from injuries he suffered after a collision with a pickup truck on Friday, September 11th.The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the collision happened around noon at the intersection of State Highway 164 and Hubertus Rd in the Village of Richfield.

Suspect in custody after domestic violence incident, three pursuits, standoff in Germantown

GERMANTOWN -- Germantown police say a suspect is in custody following a domestic violence incident Monday morning, September 7th, three separate subsequent pursuits, and a standoff situation Tuesday morning in Germantown.This all began around 9:00 a.m. Monday -- when police investigated a domestic violence incident, Police say it is believed multiple domestic violence related charges were committed (both misdemeanor and felony charges).The suspect wasn't home at the time of this investigation.Around 1:15 p.m. Monday, a Germantown police officer observed the suspect in this case driving near his home.The officer attempted to stop the suspect -- but police say the suspect fled.The ensuing pursuit was terminated in Menomonee Falls because the suspect was known to law enforcement officials and the traffic conditions and danger outweighed the need to continue the pursuit.Police later learned the vehicle the suspect was driving had been reported stolen to Glendale police.Seven hours later, around 8:30 p.m. Monday, a citizen reported seeing the stolen vehicle being driven by the suspect -- circling the suspect's home.Police again tried to stop the vehicle -- but the suspect fled.This pursuit was terminated in Milwaukee.On Tuesday morning, around 7:00 a.m., a Germantown police officer spotted the suspect and the same stolen vehicle.

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a theft suspect.According to officials, on August 23rd and unknown man entered a tavern in the Village of Richfield and attempted to cash a business check for an unknown local business.

West Bend police issue warning about man posing as We Energies employee, looking to collect payment

WEST BEND -- West Bend police are warning about a scam in which a man is posing as a We Energies employee and attempting to collect a utility payment.Police say they received a complaint about this on Monday, August 31st.The suspect was attempting to collect a utility payment via the use of a pre-paid credit card at the We Energies customer's business.Police say this man is NOT a We Energies employee.Additionally, police say scams like this have happened in other jurisdictions in southeastern Wisconsin, and in West Bend back in 2013.In each instance, the fake employee attempted to obtain credit card numbers from customers or have the customer obtain a pre-paid credit card and provide the card information to the scammer.We Energies has advised that they never collect payment from customers at a residence or in the field.The West Bend Police Department and We Energies officials encourage anyone who encounters this type of activity to contact their local law enforcement agency and do not provide any credit card information.
