Menomonee Falls PD seek suspect after theft at BP gas station on Appleton Avenue

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who they say stole merchandise valued at nearly $270 from the BP gas station located on Appleton Avenue near Arthur Avenue.The theft took place Tuesday, January 17th around 11:30 a.m.According to police, the suspect distracted the clerk by asking for cigarettes that caused the clerk to step away and turn her back.

Menomonee Falls P.D.: Search for suspect who exposed himself to juveniles

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police released a crime alert this week -- after an incident on Wednesday, June 22nd.The alert indicates that around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, an unknown heavyset male, white, early 20s, short hair, short in height, no facial hair, exposed his genitals to juveniles who were walking near Kenwood Boulevard and Hayes Avenue.Officials say the suspect briefly stopped his gray, newer model convertible to ask for directions prior to exposing himself.

Menomonee Falls police investigating security breach at Menomonee Falls High School

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police are investigating a break-in that happened at Menomonee Falls High School overnight.On Tuesday, May 31st, Menomonee Falls High School Principal Corey Golla sent a letter to parents explaining that someone used a key to access all rooms -- including those with private materials in them.School officials believe this was only a prank, but senior students were warned about having their graduate privileges taken away if they were involved, or if the pranks continue.Below is the letter from Principal Golla:

Several in custody after separate vehicle thefts, pursuit in Menomonee Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police say several people are in custody following separate vehicle thefts and one pursuit that occurred late on Saturday, January 2nd.Police say two people are in custody following a report of a vehicle theft and subsequent pursuit.Police say around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft near Lynwood Drive and Menomonee Avenue.Officers in the area observed the vehicle, and pursued it to the intersection of Menomonee Avenue and Town Line Road, where the vehicle left the roadway and became stuck in a snow bank.The vehicle's passenger was taken into custody immediately.Police say the driver fled the scene on foot.A perimeter was established, and with the assistance of the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department and New Berlin K-9 officers the driver was taken into custody near Lannon Road and Schlei Road.

Two suspects at large, accused of stealing from vehicles parked in Menomonee Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police are seeking two suspects accused of entering vehicles in the parking lot of a business, and stealing items from those vehicles.Police say on Tuesday, December 29th shortly before noon, two black males entered three parked vehicles in a manufacturing company's parking lot -- removing a Ruger 9mm SR9 handgun with a black holster, a cell phone, jumper cables and a phone charger.Police say in one of these incidents the suspects forced entry into a trunk.The suspects then fled the scene in an orange Kia Forte four-door vehicle with a temporary Texas license plate of: DRT-5965.Police say these suspects fled from an officer east on Brown Deer Road from 124th Street and south of 91st before the pursuit was terminated.Menomonee Falls police say they received a call from Milwaukee police indicating the suspect vehicle, which had been stolen, was recovered on Tuesday night.The suspects remain at large.

59-year-old Milwaukee man arrested, accused in armed robbery at Bank Mutual in Menomonee Falls

MENOMONEE FALLS -- A 59-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Thursday morning, July 16th at a Bank Mutual in Menomonee Falls.Menomonee Falls police responded to the bank, located on Water Tower Place in  Menomonee Falls around 8:21 a.m.An initial investigation revealed that a subject armed with a handgun confronted employees upon their arrival to work and demanded cash.
