FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Nancy Evans, the former warden of the Milwaukee Correctional Facility in Franklin is accused of giving thousands of taxpayer dollars to her boyfriend. 10 months after the allegations were first made, Evans faces no criminal charges and still has a job with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.FOX6 News profiled Evans over a year ago -- taking a look at how quickly she was able to rise through the ranks.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office reported the southbound ramp in the Mitchell Interchange was closed Sunday evening, March 10th following a semi rollover.A Sheriff's Office spokeswoman told FOX6 News a truck filled with 42,000 pounds of French fries rolled over, prompting the ramp shutdown.Cars were being diverted off of the highway at 27th Street.FOX6 News has learned a passenger in the semi suffered a shoulder injury and was taken to the hospital.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Three cars were involved in a crash Sunday afternoon, March 3rd, near Highway 45 and North.The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says one car rolled over and smashed into two other vehicles.The people in the vehicle that rolled were shaken up, but were able to walk around following the crash.They were taken to the hospital as a precaution.No one else was hurt.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- FOX6 News has learned a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputy was taken to the hospital Saturday evening, February 9th after being struck by a car while the deputy was responding to an accident.The incident happened at 7:03 p.m. as the deputy was attending to the accident on I-43 southbound near Greenfield Ave.The deputy was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.The condition of the driver involved in the accident is not known.Monitor FOX6 News and FOX6Now.com for updates on this story.
