(MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) --Mount Pleasant police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on Thursday, February 19th.Police were called out to to the 2200 block of Mead Street around 8:85 p.m.Upon arrival officers learned that approximately 4-5 shots had been fired.

MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- Mount Pleasant police say a 40-year-old Mount Pleasant man was arrested on Monday, February 16th following an incident at Kohl's Department store on Washington Avenue.Police say a Racine woman reported she was trying on some clothing in a dressing room located within the women's apparel section when she observed a hand that was grasping a small mirror reach under her door.The woman screamed and opened the stall door to the dressing room -- chasing the suspect towards the exit doors before losing sight of him in the parking lot.

MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- Mount Pleasant police say a 46-year-old woman was arrested after a hit-and-run incident in which a child was seriously injured.It happened on Sunday afternoon, February 8th shortly before 3:00 p.m.Police were dispatched to the intersection of Wood Road and Durand Avenue where they learned that one of two vehicles involved in a crash had fled the scene.

MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- Mount Pleasant police on Sunday, December 7th arrested a man after they say he was destroying an apartment, and threatening to kill everyone inside using a gun.Police were called out to the apartment on Warwick Way shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday.Police learned two people inside the apartment were able to get out on their own, but a woman remained inside with the suspect.Officers began communicating with the suspect, and the woman was able to leave the apartment.Eventually, the man surrendered peacefully.No one was hurt.The suspect was taken to the Racine County Jail.
